The facts remain unknown whether these images was based on the old story Si Tanggang or Malim Kundang. Images was taken from a beach called Pantai Aia Manih, south of Kota Padang, West Sumatera.

The World’s Largest Squid Was Caught

March 07, 2007 - John Bennett, captain of a New Zealand commercial fishing boat, caught a gigantic squid. The beast, a 33-foot-long adult male weighing half a ton, had wrapped itself around one of Bennett’s lines.
